The technique ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP), created by Thomas Saaty, it has been applied for the selection of the elements of the weather station. Criteria are considered characteristics such as price, pressure, temperature, physical characteristics, performance and power supply to each of the elements involved in the weather station, proposed by Saaty algorithm. Moreover, based on the results presented by different speakers at the First Meeting of FNCE and recent studies by the IDEAM, it was determined that wind and solar potential is not limited to the region of La Guajira, as they marked the 2005 study also conducted by the IDEAM, but extends to the entire Caribbean region, suggesting a higher sampling variables whole region in order to determine the potential of these energy resources in this area. Thus, the IDEAM identified a new measurement point located in Bolivar which measurements could be improved in this department.Downloads
