Design of business architecture based on information technology capabilities for the metalworking industry

This paper presents the design of a business architecture aligned with business capabilities in an SME in the metalworking sector in Cartagena. The proposed architecture was developed using the TOGAF framework and phase B of the ADM methodology. The architecture will enable the SMEs to have a tool that allows you to align organizational requirements, aspirational vision and gap analysis related to the strategic objectives of the business capabilities using solutions in information technology. It was concluded that using business architecture in an enterprise architecture supported in information technology, helps create a competitive advantage in SMEs under study.
