Abstract

With the globalization and the development of technology around the world, various tools were introduced in different countries with the aim of simplifying people's lives. With the previous development, technologies were generated that allowed people to overcome their own reality and enter a technological reality, having endless information in their hands. Over time, these advances were collected in two environments that today are known as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Each one arises with the same justification, but with different purposes. Thus, these realities created by technology were finding infinite ends, be they business, government, entertainment, and in which we will delve further, educational. Everything in the world is constantly evolving, in our innovative and capitalist reality, who does not evolve, stays in the past, therefore, implementing technology in education was a really necessary change so that it continues to be indispensable for the development of any country. In this study a conceptual review is made about the application of new terms such as augmented reality and virtual reality.
