Characterization of the profiles and skills of the young university student of Cartagena towards entrepreneurship

This paper focuses on describing the profiles and skills toward entrepreneurship based on the students from the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accounting from the University of Cartagena, Bolivar Technological University and Technological University Foundation Comfenalco city of Cartagena. For this, an instrument that has been used in other investigations and which was adapted to the context, was provided to university students in mid-2014, in order to know the level of the most studied attributes in the literature was used enterprising as they are: desire or interest in creating a business, reason to undertake, locus of control, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, level of risk and values. The results show that the college student has a positive inclination to business creation shows orientation taking Decisions entailing some risk, is governed by individualistic values, considered to have the necessary skills that allow you to manage the company and the main reasons that give rise to start a business venture due more to an entrepreneur by chance that an entrepreneur out of necessity.
