Learning to read and write in boys and girls with learning difficulties - dyslexia - mediated by mobile application

Dyslexia is one of the most common learning disorders among school children; This compromises the reading-writing process, in that sense, technological tools are designed that contribute to the diagnosis and help to improve the problem. Likewise - dyslexia - is categorized by (Association American Psychiatric, 2013) as a learning difficulty that compromises the capabilities of individuals. The methodology is based on a non-experimental design of a quantitative descriptive depth, the design of a mobile application is proposed in order to improve dyslexia in boys and girls, the Mateo Pérez Educational Institution, using the interaction model of the Software Engineering that allows quick results and provides feedback and validation of the tool. The initial conclusions show the importance of the integration of parents or caregivers, in the training processes of dyslexic children. On the other hand, the use of technologies can facilitate the timely diagnoses of this population, because the Educational Institutions do not have sufficient and trained human resources for this purpose.
